SOLDIER SHOT DEAD IN CLARENDON ON HIS BIRTHDAY Private Gary Lindsay, a soldier attached to JDF was shot at the end of his birthday party celebrations at approximately 3am this morning by a lone gunman. He was shot 8 times from the torso down to the knees. He was pronounced dead at May Pen Hospital at 5:44am. Det Cpl D BROWN is the Investigating Officer from May Pen CIB. His licensed firearm was removed from his body by the gunman after the shooting. His body was turned over to Witter & Sons Funeral Home, Clarendon.

      Prime Minister Dr Hubert Minnis Wednesday said 20 people had now died as a result of the passage of Hurricane Dorian and warned persons who were engaged in looting and other criminal activities that the authorities would prosecute them to the full extent of the law. “There are many on Grand Bahama who are suffering and as the Minister of National Security (Marvin H. The Jamaica fire department almost discontinued the live show amids safety concerns because of overcrowding at Reggae Sumfest staging held at Catherine Hall Montego Bay ST.James. July 20,2019 The venue was jamed packed it was said during the live broadcast that this years Reggae Sumfest had the largest turn out of patrons ever. This was because of the stellar line-up of artist that was slated to perform with the likes of Buju Banton, Berris Hammond, Dalton Harris and Romaine Virgo just to name a few.
